Wood Recycling Collections in the UK
A flexible, reliable and efficient solution for your waste wood.
With a reach across the UK, if you have waste wood to dispose of, we can take it to be transformed into energy for power and heat generation.
Our priorities are to handle waste wood in the most safe, legal and environmentally responsible way possible.
Processed Mixed Wood
Grades A, B & C
We accept processed wood between 50mm and 300mm as per the grades below:
Grade A
Clean processed wood, usual processed through a high-speed shredder, with all metals removed. Typically processed between 50 to 100mm.
Grade B & C
A combination of clean mixed wood and lower quality material including fencing, clipboard, plywood and MDF, excluding anything treated with creosote or CCA, all shredded to a specific size.
Unprocessed Mixed Wood
Grades A, B & C
We accept unprocessed mixed wood in the following grades:
Grade A
Visibly ‘clean’ recycled waste wood mainly from packaging waste, scrap pallets, packing cases and cable drums, and process off-cuts from the manufacture of untreated products. It is our understanding that ‘single use’ packaging and pallets manufactured within the UK are unlikely to have been subject to any form of treatment.
Grade B & C
May contain Grade A wood together with wood from similar sources, but will predominantly consist of panel products such as panel board, MDF and plywood, typically from household recycling centres.
General Waste Collections
If some of this waste cannot be processed we will ensure that it is disposed of responsibly through one of our outlets.
Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) and Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) are environmentally responsible alternatives to fossil fuels for energy generation. Whenever possible we actively pursue these methods as part of our priority to change “waste to energy”.
Commercial & Industrial Waste
We offer competitive prices throughout the UK for all types of commercial and industrial waster. We can collect either at source, or from your waste facility. Competitive rates are also available for regular collections across the UK.
Construction & Demolition Waste
We are able to accept a wide range of materials originating from construction and demolition activities, collected either direct from site, or from your depot. Competitive rates are also avaialable for regular collections across the UK.
Black Bag & Household Waste
General Mixed Waste comes in many different states and sizes, depending on the processes applied to the waste. We can accept this waster either raw, or processed, for our Waste to Energy contracts.
SRF/RDF & Pelletising
We are utilising Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), Solid Recovered Fuel (RDF) and Pelletising to produce renewable energy, instead of traditional methods.
Waste Contracts & Partners
We are constantly looking for new contracts to add to our existing contracted sites. If you are looking for a partner to work with on your waste wood, or Energy From Waste (EFW) contracts then we are ready to talk to you, to offer you a safe, legal and competitive solution throughout the UK.
